UPDATE 3/25/2020

We will be backing up the start of spring to the week of 4/25. We will be emailing all parents on 4/7 as we previously mentioned in our last update. Coach Henry will still be going live on Facebook at the Crab Kickers page at 6pm Monday - Friday and posting on Saturdays a skills challenge.

Please stay safe!!!

Good afternoon everyone -

The safety and well-being of our participants is of huge importance to us so we’re reaching out to touch base about the Coronavirus.

For the current spring session our programs are typically run outside, but for anytime we go inside we will make sure that the facility we use will have wipes and hand sanitizer on site. We also plan to provide each of our coaches with sanitizer that each participant can use before and after each session. We are also constantly monitoring new information available and working on a backup plan IF it becomes necessary.

One option we’re considering is to have our coaches record themselves going through a session and sending it out to the parents in those groups. This is a strong possibility for the first two weeks of the season. At that point we would reevaluate based on recommendations from federal and state officials. The benefit to this option is the video could be replayed during the week, so if schools and daycares shut down for an extended period of time, this would provide our crab kickers with an activity to do at your convenience.

Additionally, if we do this, we will offer a discount code for a future session of $5 per session we have to do the video coaching. For example, if we utilize the online coaching sessions for 3 weeks, then you’ll get a code for $15 off a future session (excluding winter).

For your part, please:

1.     Make sure you and your soccer player regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.

2.     Make sure you and your soccer player cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of the tissue immediately.

3.     Keep your soccer player home if he or she has a fever and keep them home until they have been fever-free for 24 hours without medication.

This is a fluid situation that we will continue to monitor closely with our soccer players’ well-being in mind. As new information becomes available and things change, we will communicate so please stay tuned.

Please feel free to reach out with any concerns.
